Acting in place of outgoing Chairperson, Gerard Hard, Deputy Chairperson Mike Dalmau welcomed and introduced the Member for Seymour, Mr. Ben Hardman and Murrindindi Mayor Lyn Gunter to the LLEN members.
Also in attendance were Murrindindi Councillor Leanne Pleash and Mitchell Shire Councillor Donna Allen.

Murrindindi Mayor, Lyn Gunter provided a warm welcome to the Murrindindi Shire.
As was the theme of last year’s meeting, we considered new structures and frameworks that will support the transition of young people into work and further education and how this can support the development of healthy communities.
Just on fifty CRLLEN members [almost half of our membership] gathered in the dining room of Flowerdale Estate to listen to our keynote speaker for the morning, Professor. Johanna Wyn.
Professor Wyn is the Director and Head of Department of the Australian Youth Research Centre, based at the University of Melbourne.
