ACFE Evidence Guide Planning for 2009 training delivery in Mitchell and Murrindindi Shires.
The ACFE Hume Region cordially invites all interested stakeholders to participate in a morning planning workshop.
When: Thursday 26 June, 2008 - 10.30am to 12.30 pm (followed by lunch)
Where: The Wallan Multi Purpose Community Centre, 42-47 Bentinck Street, Wallan [Google Map]
We need your help to contribute to the planning processes for the delivery of funded ACE programs in 2009. The ACFE Board allocates funding to ACE organisations for training, targeting people between 16 and 64 who have not
completed year 12 or equivalent, particularly people from CALD backgrounds,
indigenous, people with disabilities, people 40-64 (including men 45+) and
youth 16+ outside of the school system. ACFE funded training can comprise
tailored programs that are not accredited qualifications, literacy and
numeracy, VCE, VCAL and vocational skills programs considered to be entry
level - mainly Certs I, II and III (as opposed to higher level skills
programs from Certificate IV upwards).
Training must be evidence based.
To this purpose, we welcome the opportunity to meet with ACE organisations,
the LLEN, job network providers, local government, community
representatives and TAFE to identify where the needs are in order to meet
training and learning needs in Mitchell and Murrindindi local government
areas..
Please come along to our meeting and feel free to forward the invitation to
anybody else interested in helping us form our 2009 evidence plan. You are
welcome to either bring along or send us in advance any documents that will
help us with our planning.
Please RSVP by Monday 23 June to
