The Board of Directors works in a collaborative arrangement with the Murrindindi Shire Sub-committee to support the work of the LLEN in the Murrindindi Shire for 2009.

Background
The Murrindindi Shire sub-committee was officially launched on September 1st 2004, in the Murrindindi Shire Council board-room in Alexandra.
Murrindindi is located North East of Melbourne, Victoria.
It encompasses townships and villages of Acheron, Alexandra, Break O'Day, Buxton, Castella, Cathkin, Caveat, Cheviot, Dropmore, Eildon, Fawcett, Flowerdale, Ghin Ghin, Glenburn, Gobur, Gooram, Hazeldene, Highlands, Homewood, Kanumbra, Kerrisdale, Killingworth, Kinglake, Kinglake Central, Kinglake West, Koriella, Limestone, Marysville, Merton, Molesworth, Murrindindi, Narbethong, Pheasant Creek, Rubicon, Ruffy, Snobs Creek, St Fillans, Strath Creek, Taggerty, Terip Terip, Thornton, Toolangi, Trawool, Wilks Creek, Woodbourne, Woods Point, Yarck, and Yea. You will find spectacular water features, lakes, rivers, National Parks, State Parks and an abundance of wildlife.
