Networks for organisations working with parents and families

Central Ranges LLEN has established various networks for school, youth and community organisations that work with parents and families with school-aged children. Join a network so that you can meet your professional peers, talk to experts and hear about resources and programs.

Mitchell & Murrindindi region

Family engagement committee (Lower Hume)

This committee explores strategic partnerships with local networks and seeks to add value to parental engagement activities to support the increase of young people’s engagement with education. The group consists of education and community stakeholder representatives.

Macedon Ranges region

Family engagement Pilot (Macedon Ranges)

Lancefield Primary School is working with the Central Ranges LLEN to develop a workshop aimed at engaging parents in the Eastern corridor of Macedon Ranges. The aim of the workshop is to engage parents with students in the senior years of Primary school to discuss the opportunities and challenges faced by students transitioning from small Primary schools to large Secondary schools.

This year Pelican Education Services have been invited to deliver two workshops on September 12th and 19th to parents in the area.
