The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development Hume Region have developed an Expression of Interest for interested training and community organisations to submit an application to develop and run a Flexible Learning Options program for young people disengaging from school or who have left school across the Seymour and broader area.
It is expected that the course will commence Term 1 2013 and will be open to young people currently enrolled in school and those that have left school early. The program will be supported by a Management Committee and a Stakeholder Committee ensuring the appropriate protocols and stakeholder support are provided to the lead organisation.
Training organisations and Community Organisations (partnered with a Training organisation) are encouraged to apply. See UPDATED (as of 6th Sept) Expressions of Interest document, which is due to be submitted to the Central Ranges LLEN by Friday 28th of September.
Potential applicants should also read the following supporting documentation to inform the development of a Seymour Youth Engagement Program: Flexible Learning Option Recommendations, Flexible Learning Option Course Outline and DEECD FLO Funding Arrangements.
