Central Ranges Trade Training Centre (CRTTC) – Industry Breakfast

On Wednesday 13th February 2013, local businesses from the Automotive, Engineering & Metal Fabrication trades had the opportunity to come and see the fantastic new Trade Training Centre facilities that have been purpose built in the grounds of Seymour College.

Those who attended the Industry Breakfast were provided information on how the facility will provide state of the art training within the region for our local employees and provided with a tour of the new facilities.

The breakfast provided a networking opportunity with other like businesses in the area and the opportunity to share training and schooling history amongst other like minded peers. It also recognised and thanked local business for the support you have given young people in the area providing work placements and local employment within the region.

Discussions developed between business owners around the opportunities for partnerships and training requirements to help benefit and grow their business for the future.

We are all looking forward to the official opening of the facilities later this year.

The Seymour Trade Training Centre campus is part of a Consortium of ten local schools that have formed a partnership to gain $11.3 Million in funding to increase the infrastructure and equipment of four sites (Seymour, Whittlesea, Assumption – Kilmore and Alexandra).  This will increase the industry standard training facilities for young people across the region.  For more information go to our Trade Training Centre page.
