Macedon Ranges Training Needs Analysis – Moves Towards Phase Two

The Macedon Ranges Training Needs Analysis (MR TNA) Draft Report has been completed giving a snapshot of current training delivery, partnership models and industry engagement processes by Learn Locals in Macedon Ranges.    The findings of the draft report are based on data research and consultation with a variety of stakeholders.  Consultation included 200 surveys of local business and SWOT Forums.

Data from the draft report will be analysed by the Learn Local Consortium to derive recommendations, develop a marketing and action plan and consolidate into a final report.  As part of this process key industry and business champions will be engaged to verify findings and discuss and prioritise recommendations.

The development of a regional Learn Local Plan (Phase two) will run concurrently with the finalisation of the report and will include working with the Boards of the Learn Local consortium to derive key strategies and timelines.

Phase 3 will commence after June 2013 and will include implementing a number of high priority strategies in the action plan.

Once the Macedon Ranges Training Needs Analysis document is finalised it will be released to the public, having broad implications for schools, training providers, industry and career pathways for young people.  For further information on project go to our Training Needs Analysis page.
