The Foundation for Young Australians World of Work program has been specifically designed for Indigenous students from the Hume region.  The World of Work is an excellent program that is designed to expose students to a variety of business environments, leadership and group activities to develop personal growth and confidence. It also allows students to explore potential career paths and provide inspiration to engage with education and training.  This has been a life changing experience for many young people and a great opportunity for students.

A key strategy of the Koorie Pathways Program is to increase the retention of Indigenous students to Year 12 which is well below non-Indigenous students in the Lower Hume region.

The Koorie Pathways Program in a partnership between four LLEN’s across the Hume region, Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and local schools.
