Murrindindi Youth Partnership consists of members from the Murrindindi Shire Council, Job Service Agencies, Workplace Learning Coordinator Program, CRLLEN, Yea High School, Alexandra Secondary College, Nexus Community Health, Youth Agencies & Youth Connections Program, Yea District Memorial, Alexandra Hospitals, Alexandra Community Health, The Apprenticeship Factory, Victoria Police and Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.
The objective of the network is to keep well informed and work together on improving opportunities for keeping students interacting and engaged in school.
The network meets on a regular basis to share and update the latest information available/ provided by each agency so resources can be utilised within the area.
Through this partnership there are many resources and contacts shared for flexible learning options, traineeship and apprenticeship information that assist all schools and parties that are dealing with venerable youth.
This partnership is looking at develop health and well being opportunities, school based apprenticeships and flexible learning programs. This is assisting the community to move forward and improve youth opportunities.
