Approximately 80 Secondary School students will attend the Celebration Day to learn about a range of careers and pathways opportunities available to them including an opportunity to participate in a variety of ‘hands on’ workshops and a ‘speed careering’ activity for senior students.

The overall aim of the day is to begin to close the gap for Indigenous young people in both education and employment sectors and provide opportunities to participate in training and further education.

In the spirit of reconciliation, students will be encouraged to bring a non-indigenous friend along to this event. Families and interested community members are also encouraged to attend.

Activities will run from 10am until 2pm.
