Seymour Structure Plan Community Meeting Held

The first Seymour Structure Plan community engagement event was held on 3 June at the Community Arts Centre. The project team would like to thank the more than 70 members of the public who attended the workshop.

The workshop involved presentations from Council’s Strategic Planning Department about the structure planning process and a presentation from the Engineering Department about the status of the levee bank project.

But the real purpose of the session was to hear from the community about how they would like to get involved in the project. This means understanding what has worked well in the past and what hasn’t, so we can plan better ways to engage with the community in future. Attendees provided some very useful feedback at the event and the results will be published here on the Seymour 3660 website shortly.

There will be many different ways to get involved over the course of the project, so please check back regularly for more information. Please also feel free to contact Council’s Strategic Planning Department if you have any questions about this or our other Structure Planning projects on (03) 5734 6200.
