As part of this exciting new role funded by the Victorian Department of Education and Training, Carmel will lead the development of our Structured Workplace Learning (SWL) program, which connects schools and students with industries and employers.
Carmel comes to CRLLEN with extensive experience and a passionate commitment to young people, having worked within vocational education and training for the past 18 years. During this time, Carmel has worked collaboratively with industry bodies, employers, schools, LLENs, TAFEs, unions, registered training organisations and group training organisations to improve the outcomes for students and young people.
If you’re an employer who is interested in creating work placement opportunities for local students, Carmel would love to hear from you. Carmel can be contacted on 0417 344 455 or via email: [email protected]
We wish Carmel all the very best in her new role and we look forward to working with her to ensure all young people in our communities are positively engaged in education, training or meaningful employment.
