Macedon Ranges Training Needs Analysis – Tender Brief

The Central Ranges LLEN is facilitating a Training Needs Analysis in Macedon Ranges.  This has been developed through an Advisory Committee, lead by Kyneton Community Learning Centre, Lancefield Neighbourhood House, Woodend Neighbourhood House, Macedon Ranges Further Education Centre, Macedon Ranges Shire – Economic Development Unit and Department of Education and Early Childhood Development – Higher Education & Skills Branch in Loddon Mallee.

This project will provide the detailed knowledge of the current training demands businesses in Macedon Ranges shire require and develop training opportunities through Learn Local Centres, which could pathway into TAFE and Higher Education.  This will be an opportunity to join up young people and adults with the right training to find a local job that business require skills for.  If you know of any organisations or consultants interested in undertaking the Training Needs Analysis work a brief has been established.

Flexible Learning Option – Macedon Ranges

The Central Ranges LLEN has facilitated a local advisory committee to establish a pilot for a flexible learning options program for young people in the Macedon Ranges area.  The program is offering a Certificate I in Vocational Preparation commencing the week of 30th of July 2012 (Term 3).  Student can then transition into a Certificate II in Certificate of General Education for Adults (CGEA) in Term 4 2012 and complete in Term 1 2013.  This program is available for young people aged 15-17 years who are enrolled and not enrolled in school.  The course is aimed at engaging and inspiring young people to seek a pathways into further education, employment and training.  For further information contact Kyneton Community Learning Centre or go to our Flexible Learning Options page.
