The Board of Directors of the Central Ranges Local Learning and Employment Network Inc. [CRLLEN] wishes to advise that its Annual General Meeting for 2007 was held today at the Lancemore Hill Conference Centre, Kilmore-Lancefield Road, Kilmore.
Prior to the meeting all association members received a full Annual General Meeting information pack in the mail.
Just on forty CRLLEN members gathered in the Lancemore Hill conference centre to share ideas and information relating to the work they do to support young people make the transition from school to work or further education.
Mr. Geoff Barrett, Chairperson of the Board, chaired the meeting.
In his report to members, Geoff noted that "since becoming Chair in mid 2006, I have appreciated the volume and complexity of work done by all involved much more fully".
Geoff made special mention of the immediate past Chair, Gerard Hard, who, he said, "provided sound leadership and worked very effectively with the rest of the executive, especially our Chief Executive Officer, Bill Coppinger. Like Gerard, retiring Secretary, Christine Cox and Treasurer Mary McGillian, have been involved since the formulation of the LLEN. On behalf of the Board, our thanks to each of you for your huge volume of effective work in your executive roles."
The ordinary business of the general meeting was to ˆ

- confirm the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting and any other general meeting held since that meeting;
- receive from the Committee reports upon the transactions of the Association during the preceding Financial Year;
- appoint an auditor of the Association for the year: and
- receive and consider the statement submitted by the association in accordance with section 30[3] of the act.
