Christine Nixon, chair of the Victorian Bushfire Recovery and Reconstruction Authority, invites residents of fire affected areas within the Mitchell Shire to join her at a community meeting on Monday 16 March 2009 6pm at Broadford Hall.

• A key goal of the authority is to ensure that local people have a chance to be actively involved in the process of recovery.
• Information about the authority, its role and how it will work with local communities.
• This community meeting is one of a number of opportunities to speak to Christine Nixon and the authority.
• Light refreshments to be provided.

Free Shuttle buses will be available from central pick up points in surrounding communities and will provide transportation to and from the meeting.
