Central Ranges LLEN On Track 2006
On Track is a Victorian Government initiative designed to ensure that Year 10 to 12 government and non government school students are on a pathway to further education, training or employment after leaving school.
On Track data for students completing year 12 in 2005 across the Macedon, Mitchell and Murrindindi Shires shows :
LLEN-Wide Destinations in 2006
- 11.3% of students completing Yr 12 were employed full time compared to a state average of 9.0%
- 10.2% of students were in a Traineeship or apprenticeship compared to a state average of 9.2%
- 39.1% enter university compared to a state average of 46.1%
- 13.8% enter a Certificate 4 level or above course compared to the State's 16.3%
- 5.2% of students completing Year 12 were unemployed compared to 4.1% in Victoria.
