Central Ranges LLEN On Track 2008
On Track is a Victorian Government initiative designed to ensure that Year 10 to 12 government and non government school students are on a pathway to further education, training or employment after leaving school.
On Track data for students completing year 12 in 2007 across the Macedon, Mitchell and Murrindindi Shires shows :
LLEN-Wide Destinations in 2008
- 17.9 % of students completing Yr 12 were employed full time compared to a state average of 16.4%
- 9.1% of students were in an apprenticeship compared to a state average of 6.7%
- 34.7% enter university compared to a state average of 35.7%
- 14.3% enter a Certificate 4 level or above course compared to the State's 16.1%
- 4.2% of students completing Year 12 were unemployed compared to 4.9% in Victoria.
