TRAINING NEEDS ANALYSIS
The Central Ranges LLEN in partnership with Kyneton Community Learning Centre, Macedon Ranges Further Education Centre, Woodend Neighbourhood House, Lancefield Neighbourhood House, Macedon Ranges Shire Council, Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (Higher Education & Skills and Adult Community Further Education divisions) is facilitating a training needs analysis across business in the Macedon Ranges.
This committee is spearheading an innovative partnership to determine the skills and knowledge requirements of local businesses and develop strategic training options delivered by Macedon Ranges Learn Local (Adult Community Education) and Higher Education providers.
This project has been created through the partnerships developed in the Macedon Ranges Employment and Training Network and has been funded by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (Adult Community Further Education), Macedon Ranges Shire Council and the Central Ranges LLEN.
Consultants are developing a Training Needs Analysis report and final report is being prepared for released in September 2013.
The second phase of the project will be facilitating workshops with Learn Local providers to interpret the training needs analysis report and plan future training delivery to meet local industry needs.
Murrindindi
TRAINING NEEDS ANALYSIS
The Central Ranges LLEN is leading the development of the Murrindindi Training Needs Analysis project. This project has been developed by the skills and training committee of the Advancing Country Towns project for Alexandra, Eildon and Thornton. This project is being funded by Regional Development Australia and Advancing Country Towns and is supported by local stakeholders including the Murrindindi Shire, Outdoor Education Group, Alexandra District Hospital, Alexandra Secondary College, Murrindindi Training Institute, CEACA (Learn Local provider) and CVGT.
The Central Ranges LLEN has appointed Workforce Extensions Bendigo as the consultants to deliver the Murrindindi Training Needs Analysis.
