Welcome.
Making the move from school to work or further education can be an exciting and/or worrying time for all involved. There are lots of considerations about courses, jobs, costs, transport, living allowances, concessions, contracts, accomodation and all the things that moving from school to work or study bring.
Providing a broad range of educational pathways for our community is important in improving opportunities for everyone, especially young people making the transition from school.
Young people need a good understanding of the options available and how to navigate the pathways from compulsory schooling to further education, training and employment.
Local employers need access to well prepared, enthusiastic employees. Communities need to see opportunities continue to grow in their area.
There are a range of people, programmes and tools available to assist young people make the move from school to work or further education and training. The trick is to find the right resource at the RIGHT time.
If you are thinking about doing some kind of study or training, the best place to start is to find out about all your options. There are three main types of education and training offered in Victoria, Vocational Education & Training (VET), Adult and Community Education (ACE) or higher Higher Education, to find out more, you can follow this link .
