Research for the Environmental Scan is collected from a variety of sources. The latest Scan includes education-related data received from the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and community data from the Department of Community Development to form a focused and authoritative view of our communities and the opportunities and challenges facing them.
The Environmental Scan is a valuable youth, labour market and general planning resource for the communities of the Macedon, Mitchell and Murrindindi shires. It covers a range of social, economic, industry, environmental and labour market indicators.
