  • Increase in the number of young people supported as a result of improved planning processes to achieve their education and training pathway.  Establish baseline in 2nd Quarter 2009 set target for 09-11

 

  • Improve Region-wide education / LGA planning processes. [Outcome – Agreement on regional benchmarking of student outcomes.

Maintain and expand integrated planning framework with Key Local Government and Regional Industry Stakeholders

Advocate to Federal and State Governments via LLEN’s Chair Forum and Parliamentary submissions re importance of

  1. evidence based planning
  2. community/Industry partnerships and
  3. telecommunications infrastructure

to support improved student outcomes.

Liaise with all Govt jurisdictions and local stakeholders to ensure coordination and ongoing evaluation of all local provision planning. [ Inc MIPS/SARS and regional VET/VCAL Provision Plans]

Collaborate with regional offices [2] and all partner LLENs and LCP’s to coordinate introduction of industry -partnership pilot.

Strengthen and facilitate linkages with 3 Transport Connections projects in region

Facilitate coordination and integration of Building futures/Trade Training Centre/Economic Development and Township Infrastructure planning
