Victorian State Register
Sat, Nov 7, 2009; by Editor. The Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) maintains a register of quality-assured providers of education and training in Victoria.
You can search the register for information about providers and the qualifications they offer.
Every provider on the register has met required standards and is reviewed or audited regularly.
Providers include
- government schools
- catholic and independent schools
- TAFEs
- private education and training organisations
- providers of higher education other than universities established under acts of state and commonwealth governments.
This will allow you to get contact and map details of every provider in your area, as well as [for instance] review the Annual School Reports.
A provider can be registered to provide units and qualifications in primary, secondary or senior secondary education, vocational education and training, such as a Certificate IV in hospitality, higher education, such as a bachelor degree.
The qualifications you see listed in the search results are all accredited. Accreditation means that the qualification has met required standards on its aims, learning outcomes and assessment processes.
