PROGRAMS & INITIATIVES

Central Ranges LLEN aims to help local young people connect with relevant and high-quality education, training and employment opportunities. We do that by working closely with service providers, schools, government authorities and agencies.

  • Mock interviews for students are simulated job interviews designed to help students practise their interview skills, build confidence, and receive feedback on their performance. The experience provides a valuable opportunity for students to prepare for real-life job interviews.

  • VIC VICE is a cutting-edge virtual reality platform that provides students in Victorian classrooms with a fully immersive, interactive, and multi-sensory experience of various workplaces, promoting career awareness and aspiration.

  • Local Jobs is a free platform connecting jobseekers to local opportunities. Job seekers can search and apply for local jobs or use the AirCV tool to create a CV that will alert employers when they are a good fit for a job. It's free to advertise and search jobs.

  • Youth Take Over creates a mini workplace, where a team of young people collaborate on a project for a client, guided by a facilitator and industry mentors. Interns leave the program with new skills, increased confidence, references and an impressive finished product for their resume.
