LOWER HUME VET CLUSTER

The Lower Hume VET Cluster provides young people in our region with access to a wide range of Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs while completing their secondary education.
Through collaboration between schools, training providers and industry, the Cluster helps students gain practical skills, industry experience and nationally recognised qualifications that support future pathways into employment, apprenticeships, traineeships and further study.
Why VET Pathways Matter
VET programs offer students:
Hands-on, industry-relevant training in real workplace settings
Nationally recognised qualifications while still at school
Opportunities to explore career interests and build employability skills
Confidence, teamwork and practical experience valued by employers
Smoother transitions into further education, training or employment
